What is this survey for?
This survey is for anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer. The questions will allow you to give your views on what needs to improve or change in the delivery of care for cancer patients. As resources in healthcare are limited, we must ensure that the money spent brings benefits to patients’ lives.
We are conducting our research in nine countries throughout 2018. There is also an international option, for people who do not live in one of the participating countries. The survey has around 40 questions and should take less than 30 minutes to complete. It can be completed by patients (current or former) at any stage of their cycle of care, or by a caregiver (current or former) if the patient is unable to complete it. The survey includes a mix of multiple-choice and open-ended questions.
At the end of the questionnaire, we will ask whether you want us to keep in touch about the findings of our work.
‘People need to go back to the primary source: the patients. These are the people at the coalface of their diseases; these are the people who can provide the answers.’
