All.Can is working with the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) on the Improving Value in Cancer Care study. This study involves collecting outcomes and cost data across several hospitals in Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, with the ultimate goal of looking at what contributes to observed variations in outcomes, and improving care delivery as a result.

The project is focused on lung cancer and breast cancer – with eight hospitals for breast cancer and six for lung cancer.

The methodology of the All.Can–ICHOM study was presented at as a poster at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress in 2017. A session at the ICHOM congress in Rotterdam in May 2019 was also dedicated to discussing implementation of value-based healthcare in cancer, drawing from the All.Can–ICHOM study as an example.
