We are thrilled to announce that the abstract, titled “Bridging the Gap: Enablers and Barriers in Implementing Global Cancer Care Efficiency Metrics – A Qualitative Implementation Study” coordinated by Sofia Carvalho, has been selected for presentation at the upcoming European Cancer Summit 2024, taking place on 20 & 21 November 2024 in Brussels.

The study, which is part of the All.Can Action Guide, explores the enablers and barriers to implementing effective cancer care efficiency metrics worldwide. By providing actionable insights, our research aims to contribute to meaningful improvements in cancer care delivery across diverse healthcare systems.

In addition to being accepted, the abstract was honoured to be ranked among the top 16 abstracts by a panel of distinguished ECO Board members and Focused Topic Network Co-Chair reviewers. This recognition highlights the importance and relevance of our research in advancing global cancer care efficiency.
