All.Can Colombia recently released the paper ‘Efficiency in Cancer: The Colombian Case’ in Spanish and English. The paper provides an introduction to efficiency in cancer care evidenced by All.Can’s definition, and illustrates several examples of both good and bad practices relating to cancer care based on a review of available literature globally. It then carries out an internal review to identify what progress has been made in Colombia on this matter to-date, and analyses the strengths and opportunities that the country has in this scenario.
