Our member, the Uganda Alliance of Patients’ Organisations (UAPO)—a national umbrella body for patient groups—shared its statement on people-centered Ebola preparedness and response. UAPO’s advocacy extends beyond cancer into broader public health, outbreak readiness, and health security. At its core is a conviction familiar to the All.Can community: people affected by a disease are partners in shaping the response, not just an audience to be informed after decisions are made.
