All.Can International was proud to be part of the official launch of the Global Cancer Ecosystem (GCE) at the Global Health Connector Summit in Barcelona, held alongside Mobile World Congress.

The launch marks a significant milestone in global efforts to reduce cancer inequalities as the GCE brings a new global platform designed to reduce cancer inequalities through collective, measurable action.

Eduardo Pisani, CEO of All.Can International, represented the organisation on the Steering Group of the new platform. In his remarks, Eduardo underscored the urgency of the challenge: “Cancer care systems are under unprecedented strain in Europe and globally. Improving efficiency is not only an economic necessity but also a patient imperative. Efficient cancer care means achieving better health outcomes with a smarter use of available resources, by ensuring care is timely, well-coordinated, and patient-centred.”

With more than 35 million new cancer cases projected by 2050, a 77% increase from 2022, and inequalities in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship persisting both between and within countries, the case for coordinated global action has never been stronger.

The Global Cancer Ecosystem brings together stakeholders across regions, disciplines, and sectors. All.Can looks forward to contributing its expertise in efficient, patient-centred cancer care to this important new initiative.
