On 24 June, All.Can International CEO Eduardo Pisani joined the online workshop “Synergies between Italy and Europe in the Fight Against Cancer – Cancer Governance and Management at European, National, and Regional Levels.” This event was part of an ongoing series focused on cancer policy, organised by ProMIS—the network of regional health representatives in Italy—in collaboration with APRE, Italy’s national agency for the promotion of EU research programmes.

Eduardo Pisani presented All.Can’s work on the implementation of the Action Guide for Efficient Cancer Care, highlighting how these practical recommendations can support health systems in delivering more efficient, equitable, and patient-centred cancer care. He emphasized the importance of applying these approaches at the local and regional levels, where policy decisions can have a direct impact on patient outcomes and the sustainability of healthcare systems.

The workshop brought together experts and stakeholders from across Italy and Europe to explore how national and EU-level strategies can be aligned to strengthen cancer governance and care delivery.

All presentations and the full recording of the event are available on the dedicated page of the ProMIS website.
