All.Can International welcomes Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, which aims to reduce the burden of cancer for patients, their families and healthcare systems, and has submitted feedback to the consultation.
By improving detection, prevention and treatment of cancer in the EU, the plan aims to to reduce health inequalities within and between countries. It outlines actions that can support, coordinate and complement the efforts of Member States.
The European Commission has invited feedback, which will be taken on board and implemented to further the development of the plan and roadmap.
All.Can’s recommendations centre around:
- early diagnosis and detection
- treatment and care
- quality of care for cancer patients, survivors and carers.
