Co-Creating a Regional Declaration: All.Can at the 4P-CAN International Roundtable in Montenegro

On 14 May 2026, All.Can International was in Budva, Montenegro, for a pivotal moment in the 4P-CAN project. The International Roundtable on Cancer Prevention and Inequalities, held on the opening morning of the III Congress of the Montenegrin Association of Medical Oncologists (CUMO), brought together researchers, public health experts, policymakers and civil society representatives from five consortium countries to work towards a joint regional declaration on reducing inequalities in cancer primary prevention.

Better for people, smarter for systems: the case for person-centred cancer care.

Almost half of people living with cancer feel they are not sufficiently involved in decisions about their own treatment. That is not a minor shortcoming. It is a signal that health systems are organised around their own structures rather than the people they exist to serve and it is costing both lives and resources. Global diagnoses are projected to rise by nearly 77 per cent by 2050, and health systems cannot afford to keep organising care this way.
